Site of Carahue

- FSC Chile organized a community meeting to create a baseline with data on forest products users and the potential use of each one of the identified products. The team conducted interviews to indigenous and rural communities located up to 20 km from the site.

- In October, FSC Chile met with project partners (Bosques Cautín and Mininco) in order to explain the methodology designed by CIFOR that will allow the project participants to identify ecosystem services indicators. Afterwards, the participants started to identify the relevant indicators.

- In December, the team organized a workshop, where the set of indicators for the site was identified by the participants (including projects partners).
